842-024 is a replacement thoria-coated iridium filament assembly designed for MKS Microvision and/or e-Vision Residual Gas Analyzers (RGA). This dual-filament module is a critical consumable for providing the electron emission necessary for gas ionization in high-vacuum environments

The dual independent filaments on the MKS analyzers can be easily changed by removing the two barrel connectors and loosening the two holding screws. The mirror image filament plates can then be removed and replaced with a new set.
