RS232 to Profibus Gateways
Overview
The RS232 to Profibus serial gateway is housed in a 21/2 x 31/4 inch plastic housing with mounting tabs. A standard DB9-Female connector provides the Profibus interface and a DB9-Male connector provides the RS232 interface. This gateway may be used to interface peripheral serial devices to Profibus system. The RS232 serial stream is internally buffered allowing a Master node to send and receive data using standard Profibus messaging.
