A lightweight, compact, integrated system, this beam analyzer delivers real-time, simultaneous, non-contact measurements of the beam caustic, including near, focus, and far fields, as well as laser power.

January 22, 2026 - MKS announced Ophir® Ring-Core BeamGage® software at SPIE Photonics West 2026. This patent-pending software is the first commercial package to accurately characterize ring-core-shaped beams using industry-standard beam profiling methods. 

January 20, 2026 - MKS announced the Ophir® SP301Q CQD Beam Profiler at SPIE Photonics West 2026. Engineered to address the limitations of high-cost, ITAR-controlled cameras, the Ophir SP301Q beam profiler uses a Colloidal Quantum Dot (CQD) sensor that provides a cost-effective alternative to expensive InGaAs sensors while delivering comparable accuracy and resolution. 

 January 13, 2026 - MKS announced the Ophir SP403P SWIR Beam Profiler, a camera system for analyzing large beam SWIR (shortwave IR) diagnostics across 1440–1650 nm wavelengths. Designed to address the limitations of high-cost, ITAR-controlled options, the Ophir SP403P profiler offers a cost-effective solution for SWIR applications with a large active area. 

October 20, 2025 - MKS Inc. announced the Ophir® SupIR-X 15-300mm f/4 Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) Continuous Zoom Lens at ADEX Seoul.

October 21, 2025 - MKS Inc. announced at ADEX Seoul the Ophir® SupIR 16-80mm f/1.2 lens, the first continuous zoom lens designed specifically for SXGA (1280 × 1024 pixels) uncooled LWIR detectors with 10-12 µm pixels.
