These new additions to the Talon series are compact, high-reliability ultraviolet (UV) nanosecond lasers designed to meet the rigorous demands of ultra-high-speed, precision marking and coding applications, while offering exceptional performance and low cost-of-ownership.

The Talon Mark UV15 and UV20 deliver >15 W and >20 W average power, respectively, with pulse energies up to 400 μJ. These high-energy outputs ensure high-contrast, durable marking results on a variety of materials. The lasers include advanced features such as true first pulse control, pulse-on-demand (POD), and position-synchronized output (PSO), significantly simplifying system integration.
Built on MKS’ proven It’s in the Box™ architecture, all critical components—including control electronics and laser diodes—are integrated into a single, compact, and lightweight laser head. This design enhances reliability and streamlines installation, reducing integration complexity and total cost of ownership.
Engineered for climate-proof 24/7 operation in demanding environments, the Talon Mark lasers undergo extensive environmental qualification testing.
