The AS11899G-01 Serial Communication Module supports a variety of communication standards, to interface any type of serial device with the MKS platform. Serial modules support 9-pin D-Sub digital communication, including RS232, RS422/RS485 (4-wire), and RS485 (2-wire). The serial communications module has a direct 1:1 pin mapping to industry standard devices, so connecting to these devices are fully powered and controlled through the serial slice. Each MKS Serial Module supports integrating 4 connectors to support serial compatible devices.
