The 2006 edition of the MKS Integrity builds on MKS’s integrated application lifecycle management (ALM) strategy with feature-rich capabilities for application portfolio management and enterprise-level staging and deployment. MKS continues to be the only ALM vendor in the market today to deliver complete lifecycle management coverage from requirements to deployment to portfolio management via a single solution built on a single architecture.
Announcing MKS Integrity 2006
Aimed at IT managers and executives, MKS Portfolios is an integrated set of features within the MKS Integrity product and extends MKS’s coverage of the application lifecycle to deliver application and project portfolio metrics and trends in real time. Unlike other portfolio solutions that are loosely coupled to lifecycle management tools and the data repository, MKS Portfolios is built as an extension of the lifecycle and harvests the valuable information generated through daily application development transactions and processes.
MKS Portfolios offers:
- Rapid and effective decision-making for CIOs - through lifecycle data, metrics and trending connected to the application lifecycle visibility and spanning application development activities, operations and investments;
- Performance & manage by exception monitoring – through an active inventory of applications and projects, configurable ranges and views and visual red-yellow-green performance indicators;
- The ability to act and respond in real-time – a configurable dashboard gives instant access to metrics and trends with drill-down capabilities directly into lifecycle activities;
- A complete picture of AD productivity and efficiency – through trending and cost analysis across multiple projects, applications and across time;
- Improved communication between AD and Project Management Office - through bi-directional integration with Microsoft Project;
- Integral Design – The antithesis of bolt on, after-market technology. The single repository allows users to transition from portfolio summaries, charts and metrics directly into requirements, source code, test plans, documentation and other related application lifecycle artifacts
