MKS Integrity for Avionics enables secure, process-controlled content and change management for embedded software and digital content found on modern aircraft like the Airbus 380 and the Boeing 787. Software Parts: Hardware-oriented MRO systems are no longer sufficient to cope with the accelerating complexity and velocity of change found within embedded software systems on modern aircraft. MKS Integrity for Avionics captures all of the relevant information about the software systems, from the initial 'master record' configurations across aircraft categories through to individualized real-time status information of the current configuration for every tail being managed.
Electronic Flight Bags: Although EFB change management is less complex than software part change management, the similarity of the flight ops responsibility for EFB content and the Engineering department responsibility for software part content makes this a natural complement in functionality. By integrating EFB change management with the software and hardware MRO activities, actual EFB configuration can be automatically compared to the target configuration as requested by Flight Ops. This enables immediate recognition of any discrepancies, to enable resolution of non-alignments.
