
MKS Workshops
MKS's education team at our Training Centre in Woking offers a diverse set of training courses for end users and administrators through public classes. Courses are available in support of MKS's full ALM product line including MKS Integrity, MKS Integrity for Process and Workflow, and Implementer for System i (iSeries,AS/400). Our training courses are designed to quickly optimise your use of our SCM solution and deliver to you quick payback on your investment in MKS.
MKS Integrity
We believe fully in providing our clients with a solution to standardise IT and application development processes; one that fosters collaboration between IT and the business, and one that provides clear visibility into and reporting on, the value that IT delivers. MKS Integrity does this by building on our existing ALM solution to provide new capabilities for Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Release Management.
MKS Integrity – Basic User Training
This workshop will provide an overview of MKS Integrity such that the User will understand how to accomplish change management. There will an introduction on how to work with items, queries and workflow. Reports, charts, dashboards and email notification will also be covered.
MKS Integrity – Administrator Training
This workshop will provide an in-depth look at MKS Integrity administration such that the Administrator will understand how to create types and define workflow, as well as how to administer all of its objects, such as users, groups, projects, fields and states. There is also an introduction to the form designer, reports, charts, dashboards and event triggers. MKS Integrity Server configuration, licensing and service packs will also covered.
MKS Source

MKS Source – Basic User Training
This workshop will provide an overview of MKS Source such that the User will understand how to accomplish basic version control and configuration management. It will also cover how to work with projects, sandboxes, members and change packages. Branching, revision numbering and parallel development will be introduced.
MKS Source – Administrator Training
This workshop will provide an in-depth look at administration such that the Administrator will understand how to configure policies and event triggers that govern the way MKS Source behaves. MKS Integrity Server configuration, licensing and service packs will also be covered.
MKS Implementer
MKS Implementer® is the premier software configuration management and deployment solution for the IBM System i (also know as iSeries and AS/400). Implementer® has been architected with a dual focus of simplifying common development and IT operation activities to provide the controls and metrics for IT Managers to do their jobs more effectively. As such, it meets the needs of the most challenging developers and IT managers. As the IBM System i serves a more critical role in the larger IT ecosystem in an organisation, MKS Implementer® works seamlessly with the rest of MKS Integrity to deliver enterprise scalability for complex applications that span a variety of platforms.
MKS Implementer – Workshop for the Developer
This workshop provides an overview of MKS Implementer such that the Developer will understand how to accomplish change management through the use of the Implementer Workbench feature. The Developer will learn how to check out codes and deploy changes throughout the full promotion channel, supporting the most current development techniques. Emergency deployment and source recovery procedures will also be covered.
MKS Implementer - Workshop for the Administrator
This workshop will assist the Administrator in setting up the infrastructure required in order to successfully initiate the change management process for the designated project. The training will start with defining object codes for all items to be under the control of change management. Environments and all ancillary environment features will be set up by the class. The repository for the project will be generated and discrepancies addressed. Users and their specific capabilities will be defined to complete the promotion cycle requirements.

The MKS Training Centre is situated within Duke’s Court, Duke Street in Woking. Woking mainline station is just two minutes walk away and only 25 minutes from Central London. If you are driving, there is allocated, free parking on site.
Courses start at 0930 and finish at 1630pm and Lunch is provided free of charge.
