Shorten Application Delivery Time with Requirements-Based Testing (RBT)
In many organizations, testing is viewed as slowing down the delivery of the system, partly because it is the last step in the development process.
In this presentation, Requirements-Based Testing (RBT) expert Gary Mogyorodi will contradict this notion and explain how when an RBT process is properly deployed, it can have a major improvement on overall project delivery timelines and software quality.
In this Webinar, he reviews and discusses:
- Problems encountered in software development, opportunities and objectives for improving the process.
- The importance of testable requirements.
- The 12 point Requirements-Based Testing process.
- The Ambiguity Review process.
- Cause-Effect Graphing, a rigorous approach to testing, contrasting and comparing it to other testing techniques used in industry.
- How to use quantitative completion criteria for organizing a testing effort.
- The important issues of implementing the quality program and the organization required to support it.
The presentation concludes with a look at how Integrity, a PTC product, (formerly MKS Integrity) supports and facilitates true Requirements-Based Testing by providing complete traceability between requirements, test cases, defects and related development activities and keeping all stakeholders, from QA managers to developers to business users, informed of changing requirements in real time.
