Measure what matters
Alignment to the business is a top priority for technology and IT executives. Yet many organizations do not have access to reliable and timely lifecycle data needed to make fact-based decisions fast.
MKS Integrity has built its portfolio capability as an extension of the application lifecycle. Data is mined directly from the daily activities of team members, bubbling up to dashboards, reports and charts displaying metrics and trends.

- Customizable management dashboard provides management visibility with drill-down capabilities to easily view and report on the status of their projects or application maintenance efforts.
- Dynamic relationships remove the need to manually associate various artifacts within the system but rather make use of powerful real-time queries to define relationships and hence extend traceability.
- Analysis and comparisons to estimates on both the effort and costs side of the equation require advanced time entry capabilities such that actual effort can be recorded in the system by either the end users or via integrations with an existing timesheet or time management system.
- Metrics are calculated as a by-product of daily activities that happen during the normal course of the lifecycle. Computed fields and calculated values within MKS Integrity allow for real time roll-ups to the project portfolio and application portfolio level.
Integration with Microsoft Project allows organizations to use familiar project planning tools for resource allocation and scheduling and then import the data into MKS Integrity for managing the execution of the project over time. The integration with MS Project is bi-directional and facilitates communications between the development teams and the PMO.
- Historical reporting and chart overlays allow for the monitoring of multiple projects across the business and trending across time to ensure that efficiencies are being gained, not lost.
- Integration with MKS’s full application lifecycle solution and single repository allows users to drill down from Portfolio summaries, charts and metrics directly into lifecycle data including change requests, requirements, source code, test plans, deployment artifacts and documentation.
- Presentation templates and graphical red/yellow/green range definitions allow for tailored data display, facilitating a manage-by-exception methodology.
