CA 2E CM A Review of the New Features in 2006 and Integrated Support for Graphical Capabilities and Workflow Management

CA 2E CM, jointly developed by CA and MKS, is the premiere software configuration management and deployment solution for CA 2E applications and traditional System i applications. The 2006 release offers new and enhanced functional support for graphical capabilities, impact analysis, repository loading and improved auditability. The release also strengthens and broadens third party integrations and developer usability. With over 200 separate changes this release is sure to have something for everyone.

In this presentation, MKS Product Manager Marty Acks discussed the new features in CA 2E CM, and explained how when integrated with MKS Integrity 2006 the developer's life is made easier with new graphical interface support. The manager receives greater visibility and control over development operations with flexible browser-based workflow and IT dashboards. The end result is an application lifecycle management (ALM) solution that improves developer productivity, enables better decision-making and facilitates regulatory compliance.
