MKS to Announce First Quarter Fiscal 2010 Financial Results

Waterloo, ON - August 20, 2009: MKS Inc. (TSX: MKX), today announced that it will report financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2010 before markets open on September 9, 2009. This will be followed by an Annual Investor Presentation and Update to be held in Toronto at 4:00 pm EDT. While the Company does not intend to broadcast the presentation, it will be made available on the MKS web site at www.mks.com.
