MKS Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

Waterloo, ON – September 6, 2006: MKS Inc. (TSX: MKX) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of US $0.02 per share on the Company's outstanding common shares in accordance with its dividend policy announced last quarter. The cash dividend will be payable on October 16, 2006, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 29, 2006.
