MKS Announces Preliminary Fourth Quarter Revenue

Waterloo, ON – March 23, 2011: MKS Inc. (MKS) (TSX: MKX) today announced that it expects fiscal 2011 fourth quarter total revenue to be in the range of US$25 million to US$28 million, and license revenue to be in the range of US$13 million to US$16 million, driven primarily by a recently completed significant license transaction and expected transactions, from strategic customers.
