F1 Engine Giant Mercedes Benz High Performance Engines Accelerates Software Quality at Track Side with MKS

(TSX: MKX) announced today that Mercedes Benz High Performance Engines (HPE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Chrysler and part of Formula 1 Racing’s Team McLaren Mercedes, has selected MKS’s application lifecycle management (ALM) solution, MKS Integrity, to accelerate software quality of its F1 vehicle engines.

Based in Brixworth, UK, Mercedes Benz HPE is responsible for the design, development and production of Mercedes-Benz High Performance Formula 1 engines. A long-time MKS customer, Mercedes Benz HPE will harness the powerful process and workflow capabilities of MKS Integrity to manage Formula 1 engine performance, quality and development in real time. Mercedes Benz HPE’s software development and track-side teams will use MKS to report and fix software and hardware problems maintaining high performance standards and engine reliability.
